Happy Friday guys! Yay we are finally at the weekend and having been studying the whole week I couldn’t be happier that it’s finally relaxation time. Those of you who have been reading my blog for a while, would know the attachment I have to my two Michael Kors handbags. Michael number 1 was bought for me as a gift from my parents in July, and Michael number 2 joined the gang in September as my birthday present. I love my Michaels, but lately there is a certain lady I keep seeing around town that’s creeping into my heart with her handbags- Anni King!
Anni King is a relatively new brand of designer handbags that started in South Africa and is the brain child of the designer behind the brand, Joanna Chen. It is a collection of beautiful handbags made from genuine leather, and they are seen as art pieces and the perfect companion for your day-to-day life. The spring collection is beautiful- it is full of soft pastels and happy spring colours to brighten up your day. There are different kinds of handbags in the collection so if you are a business woman, a student or a full-time mom, there is a different fit for every woman.
Of course my favourite would be the oversized style called Hydrangea, because I am a bag lady and throw everything in my bag! Because I live quite far out, and have to have everything with me when I got to varsity or an event (GHD anyone?), I like my bags to be quite large, and this baby is the perfect fit for a student like me. Who said students can’t be stylish? It comes in three colours: baby yellow, dazzling blue and deep water coral. And if you are into the backpack vibe, check out the Petunia model, which swiftly turns from a handbag to a backpack with some straps at the back!
For those that love a more elegant and small looking bags, the Sweet Pea model is for you. I love the pastel colours of this bag; the baby pink is pefect for summer! And if you are getting ready for a night out the Lianthus oversized clutch is great to help you paint the town red. Anni King also has some handy passport holders and wallets, to go into your handbag and be your travel companion!
You can find the stockists of the bags here, and I am definitely putting the Hydrangea bag in baby yellow on my Christmas list (are you listening Steve?)
Have a happy weekend!
