Fashionable Outings- L’Oreal Professionnel Launch {Guest Post}

Hi beauties! So as some of you may know I am currently in Moscow on holiday until next week, but the industry waits for no one and the events keep rolling in! I have aquirred a blog correspondent for the time and she will also be writing a few posts for me even when I am back so everyone please give a warm welcome to Alessia! She attened the L’Oreal Professionnel Launch for me last week and here is what she had to say about it.

Alessia

Hi guys, I recently attended the L’Oreal Professionnel Re-launch of their TecniArt range on behalf of Rina as she is away. I didn’t know what to expect that evening and was blown away by a spectacular show filled with extravagant and creative hairstyles from top salons around SA. The salons who attended were Blo, Tanaz, Chase and Modern Wave . Each salon was given their own theme where they could be creative and experiment with the TecniArt range.

The range includes a product for every individual no matter the “bad hair day” you may be having. From wild and frizzy to Pixie(feminine), Spikey-Pixie(Punk), Only Knots(Chic), Mermaid Braids(Romantic), Hollywood Curls(Timeless) and Buns(Sexy), TecniArt has you covered. Their hair colours for this fall are based on metallic undertones ranging from Silver Blondes to Rose Gold’s and Icy Browns. There is a shade for every “It Girl” as your hair is your best accessory.

The students from the L’Oreal Professionnel African Salon Institute assisted the Hair Artists in creating these master pieces that you see. This Institute is the first of its kind that opened in SA this year February and is situated in Braamfontein. Their mission is to develop the skills of the profession of hairdressing, according to the philosophy and international standards. Students here are also educated in business aspects to run their own salons after their studies. By the way ladies, L’Oreal is looking for models during class training and all you have to do is donate formula milk (in exchange for payment) for babies and children’s homes. Such a lovely way to give back to the community.

The next day we were invited to the L’Oreal Professionnel Institute in town where we had a briefing on the TecniArt range. We received a personal consultation from the students as well as a wash and blow dry according to the texture and style of ones hair. The Institute is exquisite with its modern and yet industrial finishes.
Look out for these amazing hair chalks from L’Oreal which should be hitting your local hairdresser in August. These beauties last about 2 – 10 washes and come in an array of colours. I’m sure this summer will be a colourful one for all.
Thank you to L’Oreal Professionnel for hosting me on the night and a special thank you to the students and instructors at the Institute.If you would like to know more about the range or the prices please feel free to contact L’Oreal for more information.
Thank you so much to Alessia and I hope you guys enjoyed her first guest post!
