Hello beauties! 🙂 How was everyone’s weekend? As I mentioned, I attended the SA Fashion Week which was awesome! I thoroughly enjoyed a few shows, and will be re-capping my favourites (hello Gert-Johan and your amazing clothes!) in the next few days and today I am sharing my outfits.
It is always very fun and very stressful planning outfits for fashion week. I like thinking out of the box for fashion week because this is the one time where you can wear something different, and own it. So I planned three very different looks for three different days.

Day 1
I am a very girly –girl and if I could wear pastels and skirts all day every day, I would. I went all girly-glam for my first look with a pink midi skirt and a white top and trench. I love the see-through detail in the skirt (although the bottom is not supposed to be showing-yikes!) and I felt like the skirt came straight out of the 1950s and the movie “Grease”. I used my Forever New dress as a top and accessorized with neutral details- nude pumps and a clutch. To complete the look I wore a soft bun- very ballerina-like and feminine.

Day 2
Monochrome is a huge trend and I never see it going away- the black and white pallet is perfect and stylish. However I chose to step out of the box with my prints- the blouse has hearts on it, the clutch checkers, and the pants stripes. I thought it was a fun way to play with the monochrome trend and still keep it interesting. No monochrome outfit is complete without a red lip and some killer heels!

Day 3
For the closing night of Fashion Week you got to go big or go home. I love the faux fur trend for winter and my mom got me this faux fur of Asos last year already. A fur like this really needs an occasion- can you imagine me rocking up in it to varsity? I kept everything else simple and elegant. A simple black jumpsuit (so obsessed with them) with a dark lip and some chandelier earrings. My Mellissa’s completed the outfit and this had to be my favourite of the three days.
