Happy Friday guys! I certainly hope that you don’t have the blues today, because it is the weekend woo-boo! The only blues I have today are with regards to my outfit! I love my midi skirts, and this whole week has been a rather soft and feminine one on the blog.Is it time to bring out the leather and the studs next week to mix things up? You never know 😉
Midi skirts were a huge trend this past summer and I really don’t see them going away anytime soon. While I might be putting away my pastel colored skirts, I am bringing out the black and red ones! A midi skirt can be dressed up or down, worn with heels or flats, and you can make it look feminine with heels and a necklace or edgy with a crop top and an up-do. This is probably my 7th midi skirt that I have bought over the course of the past year, and anytime I see it in a colour that I don’t have yet, I snatch it! So far we have pink, blue, white, black, lilac and floral 🙂
I wanted to play around with the shades of blue here, and I really loved how it came together. A nautical blue-and-white print top paired perfectly with the baby blue skirt and a cobalt blue clutch. The necklace also has a touch of blue in it, and to let the blue pop I paired everything with nude heels and a nude lip. What I got is a very soft look for a date night or a bachelorette/baby shower(only if it’s a boy ;)). What do you think?
Have a lovely Friday!

I really love that top! The collarbones are so feminine and I really adore tops that show them off rather than always having the décolletage on show.
