If you follow me on Instagram (@irinadoman) then you might have seen that just before Christmas, I decided to spoil myself with a little something something- a pair of Christian Louboutins. Now let me tell you, it wasn’t a rash decision at all, it’s not like I woke up that morning and thought to myself “Hey, let me go and blow some cash!”, not at all. In fact buying these shoes was something that I have planned on years ago, back when I first started varsity. I always said that when I get my first job and my first proper pay check, I would buy myself a pair to commemorate this occasion. Sure a ticket overseas would have been great too, and I saved that for the second pay check (and again I will be eating bread crumbs and water for the rest of the month). So I headed off to 2A in Hyde Park to get myself some Louboutins, and here is what I picked!

At first I wanted to buy the So Kate’s in the black or nude colour, because those are classic, but those did end up being a tad out of my budget (maybe next time ;)?). When I saw these red babies, it was love at first sight. Their name is Toerless Muse, and they are perfect (I know I sound like I’m talking about a child, because yes I am). They join a big and loving family of shoes, and maybe in a years time Toerless Muse will get a sibling by the name of Pigalle, who knows?:).

I paired the shoes with this gorgeous dress that I recently picked up on the Zara sale. Again I thought it would be a great investment for work, as it’s a great length and still a bit of fun. I do love the red floral print on it, I usually barely ever wear red so this was a nice change for me. Christian Louboutins don’t really need much to compliment them, but the Bvlgari bag can’t hurt right? We shot this look while visiting the Four Seasons for some breakfast and I loved the backdrop.

  1. They are absolutely stunning, will go with sooo many outfits (I’m already picturing them with blue jeans too) and worth every penny – I would buy those in an instant if I wasn’t so stingy!
