Happy Monday guys! We are officially in the Christmas week, and are almost closing up on the 12 Days Of Giveaways here on the blog! There are 3 more posts and 3 more prizes up for grabs this week, and I have saved some of the best for last! You might laugh when you hear this, but my signature fragrance from when I was 15, has been Britney Spears “Fantasy”. Not my J’adore by Dior, nothing as extravagant as Chanel Number 5, or luxurious like Shalimar. Nope, Fantasy has been my go-to fragrance for many years, and today I thought it would be about time that I review this baby.
Fantasy(the original version) came out back in 2005, and was only the second fragrance in Britney Speasrs’ fragrance empire. This was before she went cray-cray and decided to shave her hair off. I didn’t originally buy the fragrance because I was a huge fan girl of Britney’s(who am I kidding, of course I was and still am!), but because I loved her first fragrance Curious, and decided to give Fantasy a go. I haven’t look backed since, and even though there has been 10(literally) re-mixes of the fragrance, this original one will always have my heart.
Why do I like it so much? Well its pretty much desert in a bottle, and me having a huge sweet tooth, I obviously love this. It has fruity top notes of kiwi,litchi and pear which you can smell straight away. When the fragrance settles in a bit, you can taste the delicious middle notes of white chocolate and the cupcake accord. No really, it smells likes cupcakes! This is also Stevens favorite fragrance on me because he says I smell like caramel. It also lasts a really long time on me, so it’s a win-win.
The bottle is adorned with Swarovski crystals all over, and has the bright fuchsia hue. It’s such a beautiful addition to any beauty desk, and I can’t imagine mine without it! I have also recently been trying out the Midnight Fantasy- a darker spin on the original. The scents are quite different, with this one containing top notes of plum and black cherry, and when I spray this, all I can think about is blueberry cupcakes. I see myself growing quite fond of this fragrance too, because it smells like delicious food! The crystals on this bottle are made to look like stars in the night-time sky-gorgeous hey?
And to spoil my readers today, I have one 50 ml Fantasy Stage Edition to giveaway!It still has the original Fantasy scent, but it has been re-mixed in a newer bottle to celebrate the fragrances anniversary. This bottle is also pretty gorgeous, but I am keeping it a secret and not opening it up to show you guys! Everyone has wishes that feel like they’ll never come true, but in some cases you can take action to make the change you want to see. And as for those wishes that truly reside in fantasy land? My fantasy which has actually come true this Christmas was to have a vacation with my parents, which I haven’t had since I got married over 11 years ago.
God made it possible for us to come to Cape Town with my parents. We are spending a week here, then taking the garden route up to natal and spending 7 days with my husbands family.
This is our first holiday in 5 years and the very first holiday our youngest daughter is having in her life.
It’s great that we are getting to vacation with both mine and husbands family in one trip.
This really has been something I have been dreaming about for years.

OMG I have never tried any Britney fragrances , So as my fantasy I would definitely love to win this beautiful fragrance.. I sadly only own one fragrance at the moment and thats almost finish they are too expensive for me to buy..

I do agree… This fragrance is a classic! Love both the smell and the packaging, its been years since ive used it. My ultimate fantasy this christmas would be a personal shopper session with you, Irina 🙂 since they broke into my house and stole all my clothes and shoes.. I have to build up my wardrobe from scratch. I really enjoy your sense of fashion and i would appreciate some advise on how to build up a collection of clothing with key items that could be worn different ways.

My fantasy is to have a baby next year. We are undergoing fertility treatment and I keep dreaming about a new little one to add to our family. I keep fantasizing about what he or she would look like, what sort of personality he or she would have, what he or she would look like etc.

rehana seedat Even as an adult I fantasize about going to Disneyland!! Disneyland more charming than Disney World. Instead of a massive, remote complex in the middle of a reclaimed Florida swamp, Disneyland is this quaint little park that’s basically tucked away in the middle of a normal, unassuming American town full of strip malls and fast food joints. Its small size makes it feel like a toy box come to life, and its proximity to the everyday world somehow makes its fantasies more vibrant and powerful. A trip to Disneyland will certainly make me feel like an excited kid again!
