It’s almost time for my birthday and while I have written a long and reflective post on this past year and what its meant to me, today is not the time for it(check back tomorrow), today it’s time for a fun birthday giveaway! I thought about what I would have liked to have gotten for my birthday, and let’s be honest- everyone wants(and needs!) a Naked Palette in their lives! So what better way to celebrate me turning a year older than by giving away one Naked palette of your choice? That’s right, you can choose which of the Naked beauties you would like to make your own if you win!
Which one would I choose for myself? Well it is a hard question, because I have all of the Naked palettes (obvs) and they are my pride and joy. They are WELL loved. The Naked 3 is so well loved that I had to close it for this picture, because it does not look pretty anymore- I have hit complete pan on four of the colours in it! It is my personal favourite, and while the rose hue shades might scare people, it is honestly one of the most wearable palettes I own. My second most-loved is the OG, the Naked 1 palette, where I have hit pan on a few colours as well and I think that this palette is the one that must be in every girl’s handbag.
Then of course, we have the new addition to the family, which everyone has been obsessed with lately- the Naked Heat! Do I love it? Yes. Yes I do. Do I use it every day? Almost! The selection of colours is surprisingly wide, some days I do a neutral brown look using the shades Chaser, Low Blow and Ember, and some days I go all out using Cayenne, Scorched, En Fuego and Ashes. On the other side of the spectrum, we have Naked Smoky, which is perfect for the edgy night-time looks.
My least used palette is probably the Naked 2, although it does have something amazing colours in it such as Buck, Pistol and Bootycall. I reach for the Ultimate Basics a lot during the weekdays when I want a quick and easy look, and Extra Bitter from this palette is easily my all-time favourite eyeshadow colour.

I absolutely love the pinky dreamy hues of Naked 3 and would use this the most!! I love it because I think these shades go with almost any outfit and are easiest to vamp up or tone down – stunning!!!
I would LOVE to win the naked 2. I recently just bought the naked heat and I’m swooning ??. The naked 2 is the only UD palette that’s missing from my collection so it would be an absolute dream! ??
Naked Ultimate Basics is definitely my pick! The beautiful pigments, in a quality matte eye shadow, always pull a “look” together. The palette can take me from day-to-day wear, to evening extragavanzas! This understated yet salient quality is definitely at the core of any any make-up enthusiast’s wishlist.
I’d really want to own the Naked Heat palette. I’m so drawn to the warm eyeshadow trend. And I think it would still fit in with my new urge of going semi minimalist on most days. I love that there’s mattes, shimmers, neutrals and daring shades. I hear that all the colors are wearable!? It’s on my birthday wish list 🙂
I honestly never tried Urban decay and I have heard only good things about this brand and I am eagerly waiting to getting my hands on one?hoping Durban will have our very own Urban Decay store soon?.

The Naked 2 is my favourite. I find the colors so neutral, there is always a colour that matches. I also love that there is a variety of matte and sparkle, for every occasion.

I would definitely choose NAKED HEAT. I’m addicted to neutral colours, being it clothing or make-up. I’ve recently started watching YouTube Tutorials on applying eye-shadow and actually take the time in the morning to practice my blending methods. I really do think the selection of all those warm yet soft tones in NAKED HEAT would look great and would bring out my big eyes. Since job hunting takes up most of my days, the NAKED HEAT is definitely the perfect one to use when going for interviews. It would give me the perfect natural finish to land that job and of course leave people asking “what make-up do you use?” Haha:)

Gosh my girl, as you say…every girl needs an Urban Decay Naked palette in their lives!! I absolutely adore all of the shades but I would have to chose the Naked 3 palette as my all time favourite ? ? I would love the naked heat pallete. I really believe in investing in good palettes and I have one urban decay pallete already (electric palette) and it never disappoints! I am totally in love with the naked heat shades and would totally use he pallete every day as the shades would totally bring out my eye colour! This is a tough one… I’m in love with The Naked Heat palette but the Naked 3 Palette has been my 1st love (since forever!), so I think I’ll be loyal and choose that one ? I absolutely adore the pinky neutrals in the Naked 3, it’s gorgeous and you can make such toned down everyday looks with it which are still stunning!

All of the palettes have been on my wish list for a while now – I have yet to own an Urban Decay Naked palette! And as much as I love the look of the Naked Heat, I’d love the Naked 1.. I can see myself using that palette every single day and being able to travel with it and no other palette at all.. I think a girl could possibly have that as their only palette in general!

I would really love to win the Naked Heat palette. I’ve been a big fan of Urban Decay for years now, and I think our tastes are similar. My most used Naked palette is also Naked 3, and even though I would *love* the Naked Ultimate Basics palette, I think there are some really fun colours in Naked Heat. Some of the metallic shades in the Heat palette just call my name and it’s so out of my comfort zone, it makes me excited to play and have fun with it! (isn’t that what makeup is about?) And it has some really great staple matte shades in the palette too. So yup, Naked Heat for me!

For me it would be between Naked 3 and Naked Heat. I already have the original Naked palette and I love it. Cool tones do not really suit me, so I wouldn’t go for Naked 2. Naked Basics is really nice, but I think Naked 3 or Heat would be fun to play with.

It’s all about Naked BASICS for me! The provocatively Matt tones are perfect for any outfit and make for a great weekday addition as well as a weekend classic for a day out with friends!
Sometimes less is more and the basics palette can be your little secret that makes your eyes pop a bit on those days when coffee doesn’t seem to cut it 😛

I am a makeup addict and my love of makeup has drawn me to help others, I do free makeup for women and girls who cannot afford to do it professionally, so assist for their matric balls and weddings and special occasions. I would absolutely love the Naked Smokey. I love that you can be daring and suttle all 1 pallet. You can create a softer look, yet, you can become such a queen that screams “DRAMA’ through her makeup. It’s edgy and fun and i would love to be able to experiment with these fun, loving colors.

I would absolutely love to win the Naked 3 palette. I don’t own any of the Naked palettes, but it would really make my 32nd birthday (gasp) on 26 September that much sweeter and amazing. I feel the shades in this would work perfectly with my hazel eyes. I am already envisioning blending Burnout with a bit of the Limit and then perhaps using a bit of Trick as an accent in the outer corners of my eyes just to make the green in my eyes pop out a bit more…. I’m by no means a pro at doing make-up, but dam this palette just makes me want to play around all day long 🙂

I’ve been searching for a way to make my look hotter without having to change my entire wardrobe. This palette is, to me, the answer. The design is that of a matchbox which is an accurate representation of the fire it will bring out on my eyes?I cannot think of a palette that has got me wanting it the way Naked Heat does. So grateful to have seen this giveaway.

Wow. What an awesome giveaway but a very difficult choice to make. If I had to chose it would be the naked 3 range because of the pinkish colours. I usually use browns and beiges and recently I was advised to try pink as it would suit my skin tone perfectly.
The Naked Ultimatw Basics would suit me as I like the understated looks it creates as well as being able to do more dramatic looks.
