Hello guys! We are half way through the week yay! The weather in Moscow finally decided to look up this week, and it started to feel like a real summer! It’s been so hot and lovely, and the sun is shining bright. I love taking long walks in such nice weather and exploring Moscow and all of its beautiful sights and being a real Girl About Town here 🙂

From what I gathered on my shopping trips around here is that tropical print is HUGE this coming season. Its everywhere: from your clothes to your shoes and to your accessories. A big extension of the tropical print is the pineapple print. I think it’s such a fun print, although it is a little silly, but I love it. I hunted down this cute pineapple jacket from a brand called Stradivarius (who is Zara’s little sister). They have such nice clothing but for a bit of a younger market than Zara (like me). I was so tempted to get more pineapple-printed stuff but my mom stopped me 🙂
Skorts are also here to stay as a big trend. I got a yellow one from Zara last year, and decided to continue the skort love and got this pink one. They are very comfy, and I recommend for you to invest in one this season. Last summer in South Africa only Zara offered the skort, but this year it will be available from most of the major brands I’m sure (check out Fortunes skort here!). To accessorize I added a bold statement necklace in the same colour scheme as the jacket and my favourite beige accessories that I have been wearing around Moscow- Mango shoes, Zara handbag and Dolce and Gabbana sunnies. And what look is complete without a bold lip from MAC? Of course given the name of the post, I wore the Girl About Town by MAC(see my review of it here).
It was very windy by the Moskva-reka river where we took the photos so I had to try and hold down my hair in some pictures! Are you excited for the South African summer?
