Today its time for the second installment of “the dress”- the black midi dress that I styled 3 ways! You can see the casual way over here, and today I am showing you how to style this simple dress for a work-friendly environment. As I am starting to go for interviews with companies in the corporate world, I find myself wearing this outfit quite often. It’s simple and yet chic with a touch of femininity, and this was the outfit that I wore to my first job interview.
I’ve been obsessed with this vest ever since I got it in Russia back in July, and I am so glad that I did! It was one sale at Bershka, and I went back twice before finally deciding to make the purchase. It works lovely with jeans, and with a dress as shown here. It’s almost like a blazer, except it has the fun factor in it, due to not having sleeves! And the longer length makes sure to hide all the bumps when I am having an “off” day 😉
I stuck to neutral accessories, my favorite Bvlgari bag and Dune London shoes. You don’t want to wear something super bright on a job interview; instead you want to remain classy but fabulous. I also chose to have my hair up, and use very minimal makeup. I added my Dolce and Gabbana sunnies, and I was good to go!
What do you think of this outfit? Would you wear this to work?:)
