In the world that we are currently living in, I don’t see myself doing any lookbooks for the next few months, because let’s be honest- where the heck are any of us going to besides our lounges? I’ve been working and isolating from home for 8 weeks now, and my attire has entirely consisted of pajamas and active wear. I strictly change of out of my night-time pajamas by 9am and put on my active wear, and by 7pm I am back into my next set of night-time pjs- who else is currently living this lifestyle? Since we are not re-integrating into normal life yet, I thought I would share my favorite places to buy cute sleepwear (and they often have active wear as well), because we might as well get comfortable in the ride that is 2020.
I am a HUGE fan of the Superbalist sleepwear range because it is very affordable and it is great quality. I owe 2 sets from their range, and I honestly love them. The summer sets(so the shorter ones)are light and breathable, like the shorts have slits in them for ease of movement in the hot summer months, and the winter range although also light, is still very cozy. I don’t know about you but I live for cute matching top-and-bottom sets because it makes me feel more put together, as I have my 5th snack of the day in the lounge on a Tuesday afternoon.
Lilies And Lust is where I got my bridal party PJ sets and the big reason why I chose them, is because they are adaptable and customizable! If you don’t see anything on the website that you like, or perhaps you like something but need to make an adjustment, then you can contact the team directly via email and see what they can make for you. I wanted long pants but shorts tops for my girls, so Lilies and Lust was able to do that for me, in a material that I wanted(because I didn’t want satin). They are also the most reasonably priced when it comes to bridal PJs (believe me, I got many quotes!), so that with the fact that you can try and customize your PJs and robes is a win!
Bena Woman is slightly more expensive, but very indulging! I bought a set from them last year, and the fabric is just as lovely as is the craftsmanship. They’ve now expanded into clothing as well, but have a look at their PJ and loungewear sets, they are drool worthy! While they might be more expensive, it is because if the quality, and I keep my Bena set for night stays in hotels and overseas travels.
Of course, there is Cotton On which I also really enjoy for the basics. They don’t have many matching sets, so if that’s not for you, then you can mix and match your perfect PJ pair with Cotton On. The quality on their pants is pretty good as I have a few pairs, and the T-shirts are also nice (although you could probably get that cheaper at Mr. Price). I am also a fan of their lounge wear, in fact as I type this I am sitting in a very comfy pair of their track pants, so those come highly recommended!
Other local sites that you can check out (but they might be a bit pricey) are Sew Couture, Anna Louise Sleepwear and Top Drawer.
