The thing that I miss the most about studying, are the holidays. I use to get three, glorious months off where I could travel, chill and work on my tan to my heart’s desire. Ever since starting work, I am limited to a sad little one week holiday in December, but this year I actually took two weeks off which felt like forever to me(it was great!:)). I have been back at work for a few weeks now, getting back into the swing of things, and this one of my favorite go-to outfits during the warmer season for work, when I do not know what to wear!
I love floral pants, even though my mom keeps telling me that my 84-year-old gran has the same style of pants (hinting that I am wearing fashion from the 1950s). They are such a fun way to spruce up an outfit so I paired it with a white lace top. If you are working in a more conservative environment, then add a jacket to this look and you are good to go. I love pairing these pants with plain tops because they are already so fun and bring some colour to an outfit.I got these pants from Forever New last year, but lots of retailers like Zara and Cotton On have very similar versions of it.
Speaking of Cotton On, we all rejoiced yesterday with the announcement that Cotton On has officially landed online! Having a full time job has completely limited my shopping time- I know, how sad 🙁 Gone are the days where I could roam around the malls looking inside every shop to find something that tickles my fancy. I have heavily resorted to online shopping (Superbalist and Spree are my fav), so I am so happy to have Cotton On join the online ranks. Although, having Typo online is probably very, very bad for my bank account….I am about to order a whole bunch of new stuff for my desk! I am lusting after this yellow floral jumpsuit from Cotton On, and this black kimono is coming with me on my next airplane trip! My shoes are from Cotton On, and you can shop a very similar version of them right here.
Wishing you a very fruitful week ahead at work!:)
