A couple of weeks ago I became a very lucky new owner of a Bvlgari Isabella Rossellini bag as well as some spectacular sunnies and a perfume. If you are wondering why, it’s because my post about the Le Gemme fragrances was awarded as the best out of the bunch, and I was gifted the amazing hamper. I know right?I was very excited too! The bag is exquisite(you can see it on my Instagram,), and I have been saving it for an outfit post in Paris. Its my first proper designer bag, and its so incredibly luxurious. Speaking of luxurious- lets talk about this Bvlgari Le Gemme Noorah fragrance!
You can get a brief description of the 6 different fragrances in the Le Gemme collection in my previous post here, and today I wanted to focus in on the Noorah fragrance. Truth be told- it wasn’t my favourite, but it has grown on me immensely. It is one of those fragrances that need a couple of minutes to “settle” onto your skin before you can make a final call of what it really smells like on you. It has notes of tobacco, iris and oak, and I would classify it under the oriental section of the fragrance wheel. Having just visited Dubai, this is what Noorah remind me of- spice souks and Arabian nights. The first note that I immediately smell is tobacco, but after a few minutes the lighter, floral notes start to settle in and the mixture of both those different things makes for a very pleasant and sophisticated scent .
The bottles in which the fragrances come in are nothing short of beautiful masterpieces. This is a 30ml one, and it doesn’t stand up straight, instead it lies on your table(the 100ml are the ones that stand). Each bottle was inspired by a precious stone, with the Noorah being inspired by the turquoise. I love the colour blue, and turquoise happens to be one of my favourite stones(along with sapphire and citrine), and it is a beautiful stone that I would mind having in my engagement ring(are you listening Steve?;)). The bottle is a stunning addition to my perfume table, and it stand out from the rest.Even the box that it comes in is so beautiful, and I actually like keeping it in the box because it decorates my dressing table.
The Bvlgari Le Gemme fragrances are available at the Cosmetics Gallery at Hyde Park Corner, and the 30ml one goes for R1860, and the 100 ml for R3715. It is a luxurious investment, because you won’t see every dressing table having one of these babies! Plus if you follow me on Instagram, there is a little treat in store for you-check it out(pssst you can win minis of all of the Le Gemme fragrances!)

That bottle is to die for!! I just find their bottles are definitely not made for practical reasons. I have the one shaped like a pearl and it just has to lie on it’s back all day. lol. Love Bvlgari!!
