Anyone that knows me knows of my love of Forever New. Barely a week goes by that I don’t stop by at their store and treat myself to a new dress, pair of shoes or anything else I can get my hands on. Their beautiful clothing fits right in with my feminine style. They keep their apparel very innovative by constantly releasing new items and collections, so it’s always a treat to shop something new in store. Their latest collection, a beautiful holiday inspired Island Luxe has just landed, and you will want every piece from it!
Island Luxe displays bold prints which reveal the vibrancy of summer. Mixing large scale stripes, palm prints, tropical and statement placement prints. Colour inspiration is taken from the streets with electric fuchsias, deep turquoise, banana yellows and sea blues. Styling is inspired by all things summer, think off-shoulder blouses and dresses, loose, cascading ruffles, cute playsuits, shift dresses and long wrap style dresses.
For my first look from the collection I chose to go with my latest obsession- the off-the-shoulder Cara frill blouse! With its pretty tropical print, it’s the perfect addition to your wardrobe this summer and this will look great on anyone paired with a high wasted skirt. I chose to go with this Lily white lace skirt which wouldn’t look out of place at the office or at the beach! These 2 items are really versatile which is what I loved about them, and pairing them together was just one of the options. I finished the look off with a sun hat (I love a good sun hat!) and my signature red lip.
