Outfit Of The Day- Leather and Lace

Happy Monday guys! I hope you had a stunning weekend! Mine was busy as usual with CFA prep underway and visiting the Wedding Expo with my friend who just got engaged! Last week was also a rather busy for me as I took part in the judging of Miss Veet 2015. It was an exciting few days and in the end Odirile was crowned as the winner- congrats to her! There were so many other amazing contestants and I’m sure it’s not the last we will be seeing from many of them.

For the crowning of Miss Veet I decided to go all pretty in pink with a little edge. I know my style is rather sweet and feminine and you will never see anything crazy up here(as Dimi who took these photos from Style Scoop says, life is too short to wear ugly shoes), but I do like mixing it up with an element here and there. This gorgeous lace pink dress is offset with a biker leather jacket and black accessories. The biker jacket is of a similar hue and the handbag has lace on it, but I think the mixture of different fabrics and the addition of black to a very soft outfit, makes it an interesting one.

The jacket, dress and handbag are part of the River Island SS15 collection and these items will be filtering through to the stores soon! With winter on its way, I am really trying to squeeze in as much summer loving and summer outfits as I can, so don’t expect to see anything winter-y on the blog for at least another month!
