Outfit Of The Day - A Guess Girl

Last night Steve (le bf) and I attended the launch of T.M.Lewin-an awesome new formal wear brand for men. T.M.Lewin is the official sponsor of formal wear for the Proteas. So Steve was really excited to come with me to meet some of them. The launch was held at the uber-stylish San Bar at Sandton City and as usual, was lots of fun. The food was delicious and I was happily sipping on virgin strawberry daiquiris the whole night. You can check T.M.Lewin out at the Edgars in Sandton City and their first stand-alone store is scheduled to open at Rosebank Mall next year.

My first ever brand-obsession was Guess. Actually this was the brand that made me fall in love with fashion. I was about 15 when my mom took me to the Guess store to buy a pair of jeans, and ever since then I have been in love with it. Over the years my Guess collection has grown considerably and my friends joke that when I have a kid one day, all she (because it will be a she according to me) is going to wear is Guess clothing.

If I could wear one dress for the rest of my life- this would be the one. I bought it when I was in my second year of university, and it cost me a small fortune, but it was love at first sight. I remember saving up for it for a long time and this dress to me is in my Little Black Dress (except its grey). I love the lace detail and the beading, and the delicate straps. This is also the dress I used for my 21^st photo shoot (see the last pic) and I have been itching to wear it for a while.

I always find myself reaching for these shoes with this dress- I bought them in Russia a few years ago and despite their towering height, they are very comfortable! Do you have a favourite dress that you reach for all the time?
