Outfit Of The Day - 'Tis The Season To Be Sparkly

When we first moved from Ukraine to South Africa it was very strange for me to celebrate Christmas in the summer. I was used to the smell of pine trees, snow everywhere and cups of hot chocolates. It was quite an adjustment at first but now I quite enjoy it! However, as it turns out I will be celebrating the Russian Christmas (it is on the 7th of January) in Moscow this year! I am leaving for my second trip to Russia next week, and although I am not excited for the cold weather(it drops down to -30 C around New Year’s) I am very excited for family time and playing around in some snow! Oh and the shopping 🙂

This will be my last outfit post for the year- and it just reminds me of Christmas! I love all things sparkly and this Topshop top is perfect for this time of the year. Last year I celebrated Christmas in Cape Town and the weather was quite chilly so I paired it with wet-look jeans, but since Johannesburg is so hot around this time of the year I chose the bodycon skirt instead. I also absolutely adore my white-gold, drop earrings which were Steve’s gift to me on our second Christmas together.
