Summer days are long gone and autumn has fully settled in, but because we live in sunny South Africa, I am still trying to catch the last few days of sunshine. I love autumn afternoons when you can bask in the warm sunshine before the evening chill settles in.During the week I am always dressed up for work in dresses and pencil skirts, so on a weekend I do my love “jeans and a T-shirt” kinda style. However you will still never catch me in flats (almost never) because I am a high heels girl through and through! And what better heels to wear than my gorgeous little Louboutin babies?
I’ve mentioned these GAP skinnies on the blog before, but I cannot stress enough the importance of having a good pair of black jeans. I have struggled for literally 2 years to find a perfect pair of black jeans that have the perfect fit and well, are the blackest black that I could find. To be fair I had a really nice pair of Lucky Brand jeans that my mom ruined in the wash- you only wash black jeans inside out otherwise they fade! When I came across this pair at GAP it was love at first fit, and I have been wearing these jeans on my weekends, and even to the office with nice heels and a blazer. Plus, they make me look skinnier than I actually am so it’s pretty perfect 😉
My precious little Louboutin babies look good with everything, but I love dressing up an outfit with them as much as I love wearing them with a fancy dress. Give the girl the right pair of shoes and she can conquer the world right? While browsing around Stuttafords I also found this cute T-shirt from Banana Republic and knowing my love for graphic tees, I thought it would be a great addition to my wardrobe. With the weekend around the corner (yay!) I hope this gives you some style inspiration whether you plan on having a chilled lunch or a Saturday night drink (don’t forget the red lip!)
