Congrats Ginna Maio!
If there is one thing that I can’t live without in my life, its chocolate (okay maybe air and water too). I have a huge sweet tooth and I stopped feeling bad about eating chocolate a long time ago- I justify it with the fact that I work hard and my body needs it! I’m also not too fussy on the flavours- milk, dark, mint, caramel, I like them all! Luckily Cadbury Dairy Milk has a whole bunch of different flavour offerings that will suit anyone’s taste. But the question is- what flavour do you favour? Tell me and win a Cadbury Dairy Milk hamper and online shopping voucher worth R 1000!
Cadbury Dairy Milk just launched SA’s first Joy Generator where you can find out which chocolate flavour you are best matched to! This vending machine style activation will match South African chocolate fans with their perfect Cadbury Dairy Milk flavour! At the launch event I had my Joy Generator experience and it matched me to a delicious flavour- Fruit and Nut which is what my outfit is inspired by today!
According to the Joy Generator a Fruit and Nut persona is super smart (no objections there ;)), a bit of a nutter, but certainly has a wholesome side too. My quirky, combo personality makes me really interesting to hang out with (again no complaints ;)), as others never quite know what they’re going to get next. I can’t say that’s the description wasn’t pretty on point with me, because I always say that I like to think of myself as a mix of naughty and nice, a bit girly and a bit edgy and you really never know what you are going to get with me next(just ask my friends and my boyfriend:))
You can discover your flavour by attending any of the five Joy Generator activations scheduled nationwide in May and June! This month the Gauteng Activations continue at Maponya Mall in Soweto from 25 to 29 May and Menlyn Park Shopping Centre in Pretoria from 1 to 5 June. Durbanites will find the Joy Generator at Gateway Mall from 8 to 12 June and Capetonians at Canal Walk from 15 to 19 June. Additionally, should you be unable to attend these exciting mall activations simply visit www.cadbury.co.za/flavourfavour to find your perfect chocolate soulmate. If you are not happy with your flavour match you can “speed date” other Cadbury Dairy Milk variants online as well to find the one that’s just right for you- is it Oreo? Maybe Caramello? Or how about some Biscuit?
After I discovered my flavour, I was inspired by the Fruit and Nuttiness of it to create an outfit that resembled the delicious chocolate. When I thought of fruit and nut, I immediately had purple shades in mind for the fruit, and beiges and dark browns for the nuts. I went back and forth on where to shoot this outfit, but when we spotted this wooden wall, we immediately thought of chocolate and nuts! This playful Ted Baker dress with pops of purple was perfect to add the fruitiness and the fun to the outfit, and I added beige accessories to play on the whole nut part. I really loved the way this outfit represented the flavour- the perfect mix of quirky and cool!
And now it’s your turn to have some fun! I want you to find your flavour, and by doing so you can stand a chance to win a Cadbury Dairy Milk hamper and online shopping voucher worth R 1000! What could possibly be better- shopping and chocolate!? To enter find your flavour match on the campaign website, and leave a comment below or tweet me(@irinadoman) your flavour using the #WhatsYourFlavourSA hashtag! For example if your flavour is Oreo, then say “Hey @irinadoman my flavour is Oreo! #WhatsYourFlavourSA”
The competition is only open to residents of South Africa
The competition will run until the 7th of June after which a winner will be drawn randomly.
