94 shades of summer

Happy Monday guys! I hope you all had a fantastic weekend! I celebrated a friends birthday and hanged out with my friends- not much excitement, but those are the weekends that I love the most because I get to just relax with my besties and le bf, drink wine and talk crap for hours. I have also been binge watching Awkward- is anyone else obsessed with this show or is it just me?

My shade of summer for this week is purple- a royal color which also happens to be my favorite! And this is one of my favorite summer looks, complete with purple shades! While down in Balitto I got my mom to snap some photos of me on the beach in this gorgeous Forever New maxi dress. I loved this dress so much that I bought it the moment that I saw it. Maxi dresses in general are one of my favorite items in my closet(because they are comfy and great for fat days), and the print on this one is just exquisite! And it goes so beautifully with the dark blue sea.

I accessorized with my flash(mirror-lenses) Vogue sunnies from Sunglass Hut, a tropical clutch to match the dress and a very pretty bracelet that my mom made for me. She is so talented it kills me sometimes- did I mention that while she was here she managed to make new curtains for the house because yes obviously she also knows how to sow! One of my Christmas pressies from my mom were these River Island cuties- the pretty sandals complete with bows on them, it’s so me! The wind was going mad when we were taking photos so excuse the wild hair. I had a lot of fun running around in the water, splashing my mom and of course getting soaked!
