Lookbook- Floral Dresses For Ocassions

Florals? For spring? Groundbreaking, right? 😉 I cannot help but love floral dresses for this beautiful season, and even though I keep telling myself to STOP buying floral prints, every time I see one, I fall in love with it and want it. A very versatile print for work, casual fun or even an occasion like a wedding, so I advise to always keep a few beautiful floral prints in your cupboards to throw on when the time comes.

With wedding season being slightly allowed to continue again, I thought that I would show you some lovely dress options with a floral print, if you were attending a wedding or a celebration soon. A floral print in my mind is the ideal thing to wear to a wedding because it is not too loud or offensive for you as guest, because the last thing you want at someone else is wedding is to stand out more than the bridesmaid or the bride! This one I got at the Forever New Factory store in Woodmead (I love that place!) and it is so beautiful that I have actually barely even worn it because I don’t want to ruin it! 🙂

Here are some beautiful options for you to invest in, Forever New is known for their floral dresses, so I always suggest you look there. This dress is very similar to mine with the pretty print, or also this one looks gorgeous! Superbalist offers a variety of gorgeous floral print dresses; I would not even know where to start! And of course, Poetry, which I mentioned in my blog post over here, has beautiful and unique dresses that you will not find anywhere else.

Also just a small note on the dress code, and respecting the bride and grooms wishes on it. If the dress code stipulates “Formal” then a floor-length dress in a material like satin or tulle would be best. The bride clearly wants a certain look for her wedding, so you need to show up! 😉 A cocktail length dress is appropriate for a Semi-formal or Smart Casual wedding, not a formal wedding. Here you can experiment with colors and fabrics, as the door is open to more options than with the formal dress code. Lastly, if the wedding invite says “Casual” then I would suggest sticking with a beautiful sundress and a small heel.
