Happy Friday beautiful people! This week we celebrated Women’s Day in South Africa, and in honour of it, New Balance collaborated with a few influencers on some cool looks. I’ve been eyeing out a pair of New Balance sneakers for ages, so I was excited to receive my pair and style it up! We were asked to style two looks with the sneakers, and this was my first one. It’s a little gym inspiration especially given the fact that spring is on its way, it’s the perfect outfit to get me (and you) into the swing of thing!

I am not going to lie to you- this past winter, my gym attendance has been lacking. I finish work around 6 and by then it’s already dark outside, and going to the gym feels like absolute torture. Add that to the fact that I sit at a desk all day and eat doughnuts, and it’s not a great combination. With just less than a month to go until my Spain trip, I decided to get my ass back into gear, and I don’t know about you, but cute gym gear is everything to me!

The New Balance 420 sneakers were the perfect start to my outfit and I went on from there! Granted, they are not meant for heavy workouts, but my chosen sport is usually Pilates or yoga (sadly I am not a runner). I popped into the Cotton On store the other day (love that place) and spotted this cute “Kale” shirt, and had to grab it! I paired it with these olive tights (also from Cotton On) and a sleeveless hoody which is perfect for the chilly winter mornings and afternoons.

I hope this outfit gave you some gym inspiration. I am a firm believer that gym outfits don’t only have to be boring and bland!
