Happy Monday peeps! It’s been anther crazy week for me, and it’s almost time to wrap up the Kiehl’s #ChangeYourSkin Challenge. The 28 days is over, but I still wanted to tell you guys about more of the Kiehl’s products that I used, so I will give you guys the final feedback about my skin next week. Today I wanted to chat about two more products which are both serums- The Clearly Corrective Dark Spot Solution and the Powerful Strength Line Reducing Concentrate.
The Clearly Corrective Dark Spot Solution was one I was quite excited about. At 25 my main skin concerns are that it’s starting to look a little bit dull and is lacking radiance. I often find myself thinking that I am looking a tad grey, and as much as make-up can help with covering that up, you want to get to a point where your skin naturally looks good. Clearly Corrective is enriched with White birch and Peony extract and it is very high in Activated Vitamin C. It comes with a little dropper applicator and it helps to prevent the formation of future dark spots and other skin discolorations with continued daily usage. I was super excited to start trying it out and included it in my morning routine.
Unfortunately I did experience a bit of a break out when I started using it and it could be due to the high dosage of the Vitamin C in it. My skin just did not love this product, so after about a week and a half, I decided to stop using it. I still think it’s a great product for people that are concerned with dark spots and pigmentation, but it was just one of those things that didn’t work for me. What did work however was the Powerful Strength Line Reducing Concentrate! I used it for the first time back in 2014, and I’ve enjoyed it ever since. It’s got a high concentration of Glycerine– something I personally really enjoy in products(I’ve been using the Hydro Pluming Skin Re Texturizer from Kiehl’s for years now, and that’s got a high concentration of Glycerine too) as it really improves the skins texture and overall feel. It does smell a bit strong, but the effect is totally worth it.
Have you tried either of these 2 products yet? I will have my final Change Your Skin post up next week and a review on my favourite product of them all- the Ultra Facial Cream Moisturizer!
