I Am Not Apologetic. I Am Not Modest. I Am Not Subtle. I Am Not Ordinary. I Am Not Conservative. I Am Juicy Couture.
Ladies (and the few gentlemen), please give a warm welcome to the latest addition to the Juicy Couture Fragrance Franchise- the very bold, the very statement-making, the very ripe, I Am Juicy Couture! This fragrance resonates with the “It Girl”, the rebel at heart, and the girl who isn’t afraid to be who she is, because she knows exactly who she is. This fragrance is loud, it is glamorous and it keeps you wanting more. Are you intrigued yet?
If you follow me on my social media accounts (if you don’t, its time to start) you would have seen me proclaim the things I Am Not this past week in order to proclaim what I am- Juicy Couture of course. I Am Juicy Couture is for the girl that lives and breathes Juicy Couture and is fearless with an individual spirit and style that make a statement to the world. I thought that it resonated for me on all levels, because while I consider myself to be quite feminine and girly, I also have that bit of a daring edge to my style and personality (just see how fierce I get when you try and play 30 Seconds with me ;)).
The fragrance itself is a sweet concoction of flowers and fruit. It opens with fruity notes of Raspberry, Pomelo and Passion Fruit (I wouldn’t mind putting that all together in a drink!). Its middle notes are purely floral- Gardenia, Rose and Sweet Pea. And to finish off this sweet scent, we have Amber, Warm Woods and Soft Musk. For a lack of a better word, this fragrance is Juicy on all accounts, and is bursting with sweet and succulent flavors.
The face of this fragrance is none other then our home girl Behati Prinsloo (well almost home-girl, Namibia is right around the corer). I have been obsessed with her and her chic boho style since she burst onto the modelling scene, and I even forgive her for marrying my dream man, Adam (he is so handsome). She looks so gorgeous and fierce in the adverts for I Am Juicy Couture don’t you think?
This has been a very welcome addition to my perfume collection, and in the next month I am going to incorporate I Am Juicy Couture into my everyday lifestyle, and live the Juicy life. How am I going to do that? Well you will just have to check back here in a couple of weeks and find out!;)
The fragrance has just hit stores, and the 50 ml goes for R725 and the 100ml for R1050.
