If you are a fragrance junkie and love a sweet, oriental fragrance, then listen up! There is a new fragrance on the market and it is delicious! I am a fan of the original La Vie Est Belle perfume and I own the L’Absolu variant of it. However, its latest edition, L’Éclat has to be its prettiest one yet! It is one of the most gorgeous bottle designs that I have ever seen and yes while it is all about the juice when it comes to the fragrance, a beautiful bottle like this is a stunning addition to any beauty desk.
So while we at it, let’s talk about the new bottle design-manufactured by the master glassmakers Maison Pochet, this new bottle required incredible technical virtuosity to reproduce the form in the designers sketches with clean, modern lines. Each of the 221 studs that adorn the bottle have five facets, with angles honed by hand when the moulds were created, so each of them would spring to life by catching the light. Isn’t that amazing? A true bottle of happiness, right in your beauty room!
In terms of the notes, there is also a bit of a new mix going on. The original fragrance has the tasty top note of Iris (which makes it a floral fragrance) while L’Eclat surprises with a fresh floral note of Orange Blossom. The middle notes are citrus notes of Mandarin and Bergamot, and the fragrance is finished off with Vanilla and Sandalwood. It is described as an Oriental Floral fragrance, so it is a quite a sweet scent with a little bit of spice!
Éclat : “You see it in the sparkle of an eye; you sense it in the vibration of a smile, something that radiates from within like an inner light”.
If you love a sweet, floral fragrance with a powdery finish then La Vie Est Belle L’Eclat is for you! It is available now in select Edgars, Foschini, Woolworths, Truworths and Red Square doors as well as online starting at R1499 for 50 ml.
