Autumn might be in full swing here in South Africa, but I refuse to let go of summer. The chill has gotten real, so real that last night I had to admit defeat and turn on my heaters around the house to try to keep warm. However just because the leaves have changed colour, doesn’t mean everything has to change. I love floral print, and I found a fall way to embrace it! Plus in what better way to do it then with a matching two-piece suit?
I love matching pieces, and I imagine that when I start working I will rock the skirt-and-blazer combo quite often. The pant suit is a huge trend for this season(read my trend post from Fashion Forward here), and I am glad we have lost the shoulder pads and added the tailored and fitted parts to this trend. This winter florals ensemble is from River Island, and it is not available in store as in just yet, but will be soon! If you are like me and love summer, and just have to get by the winter by still holding on to parts of sunshine, then don this pretty suit and you will bring a ray of sunshine this winter to your boardroom or your party!
I paired the suit with a simple white blouse from Zara and my favorite nude heels. I definitely think that this outfit is office ready, but I still wanted to add some details to it that would make it “me”. The emerald-green bag from Dune is so gorgeous, and I like my hot orange nails(that’s Morgan Taylor in “Watch Your Step,Sister”). Also some timeless earrings and loose curls complete this fun, yet still office appropriate look.

Oooh this is gorgeous! I don’t think I’ve ever actually worn a matching two piece (aside from a power suit) but this is such a lovely soft style that I would definitely give a try!

I am often afraid to explore with matching suits. You, however, you do this so beautifully!
