Outfit Of The Day- Punk And Ivy

I always look forward to the collaborations that Legit does every season. Their blogger campaign a couple of years back was everything, and I drooled over Lallas range last summer. This winter they are back with a bang, with the brand new collaboration with Punk and Ivy(the designer duo that owns a mobile boutique which bring fashion to the streets) as part of their “Don’t Conform” campaign. The range dropped last week Thursday, and I attend the preview for it, after which I rushed to the shops the next day to get a few items. I knew I wanted the skirt the moment I layed my eyes on it, but besides the skirt I also ended up getting the top and a leather pencil skirt. The range is a fun mix of prints, monochrome pieces and “street-style” items, and even a girly girl like me can find her inner punk with this range, which is what it is all about.

The skirt is just a gorgeous flowing sea of gold, and I love that I can dress it up or down. With this look I wanted to explore my inner punk girl(I knew she was somewhere in there), and pairing the skirt with the white top with leather details on it was a start. I just got these booties in Dubai, and thought that it would compliment the top perfectly. I tied my hair up for a bit of a different look, added studded details with my bag, necklace and bracelet and a touch of purple Heroine lippie finished off my look. I ended up loving it, because it has a touch of my personality with it due to the skirt, but also a bit of edge with the black details.

You really need to go into a Legit store and see this range! The skirt was just R230(23$ which is nothing!) and the top was R130! Other items that I wish I got my hands on are the denim jumpsuit, the printed dress,the monochrome sweatshirt dress(these are so hot right now!), black mules, that leopard print backpack and well, everything else in the range! I love that Legit bring stylish, affordable clothing to us with these collaborations.
