We have finally arrived at Friday, and I don’t know about you, but this week felt like it dragged for me! I shot this look post back in August, when the weather was warming up, and I thought with spring all around us and with the wedding season upon us, this would be the perfect time to share it. I like to bring a little bit of glam to my outfits, and this gold skirt (that I styled in a rather punky way here), is such a beautiful piece that I know I will keep in my wardrobe for years to come!
I had two events on the day when we took these photos, and both were in quite posh places, so I felt the need to dress up a little bit. One of the venues was actually Shepstone Gardens, which is a wedding venue, so do you feel my wedding outfit vibe here? I must have gotten over 10 comments on that day about how beautiful my gold skirt is, and asking where I got it from. I still can’t believe that I snatched this beauty up from Legit (it was from the Punk And Ivy range), and it was just over 200 bucks. Best buy ever!
I paired the skirt with this beautiful black lace bodysuit, that has been in my cupboard for a while. Bodysuits are super 90s, I mean my mom used to wear them! But with the 90s making such a huge comeback, bodysuits are just one of the items that are back in business. I like it because I can pair it with almost anything, and people often think that this is a dress, not a 2-piece set. To finish off the look I wore my laser cut shoes and a Michael Kors handbag with some gold studs.
What do you think? I hope you have a fab Friday!
