christmas outfit

As Christmas time approaches, so do the year-end functions! As I recently started work, I came in just in time for the party season, but even before that I always remember my mom dressing up for her Christmas Office parties! It’s a fun day or night out with your colleagues to celebrate the end of yet another year and the awesome achievements that you’ve accomplished throughout the year at work. This look would also work as an actual Christmas Day party outfit if you plan on doing something a little bit more fancy than chilling in you sweatpants eating leftovers (is it just me?;))

I fell in love with this Ted Baker dress the moment I saw it. Its part of a small Christmas collection that is now available at Stuttafords and anyone will look stunning in this dress! The cinched in waist will visually shrink anyone’s figure and give a lovely silhouette. I love dresses like this because they give you a tiny waist and flair out in such a feminine fashion. I promised my mom a while back that I would try and branch out into different kinds of dresses, but really this dress is so pretty that I couldn’t resist!

Something that we struggled to photograph is the sequence on the dress- yes the whole dress is embellished with it, so it gives a real festive feel! This dress is even more beautiful in person and I hope you can see the stunning details on it. I paired the dress with simple black shoes and a red lip(this make-up tutorial is coming your way on Thursday), and the only accessory I used was a gorgeous red Poinsettia.

I think that this look will work wonderfully for a year-end function at your office or for a Christmas Eve/Day outfit. What do you think?
