Inspired by my ombre post yesterday and the gorgeous name of the nail polish from Mondays post, today I am sharing with you one of my favourite looks to date. I absolutely love Ted Baker, it is just such a feminine brand and you can always count on it for gorgeous dresses, shoes and bags! Dimi from Style Scoop shot this look for me at The Four Seasons, and it wasn’t planned but it ended up looking very retro with the surroundings. The scenery also matches the dress perfectly!
I got this Ted Baker purse(I actually use it as a make-up bag) at their media day last year, and I loved the darker floral print. Ted Baker is known for his signature floral prints, and even though they change from season to season, you can always spot a Ted Baker. When I saw this gorgeous dress at Stuttafords that matched my bag, I knew an outfit had to be made! They are of the same print, so they do clash but I love that in this look. I kept everything else simple, just my favorite black shoes and soft ombre curls to finish off the look.
This is sort of my take on a modern “damsel” in a dress. Running around Johannesburg, loosing her stylish River Island shoe and looking out the window for the prince to come. We can all use a little bit of fairytale magic in our lives sometimes, and often all it takes is a dress to make you feel like a princess. Check this dress out at Stuttafords, and be careful not to fall in love with everything you see at the Ted Baker aisle! It’s an expensive but beautiful addiction 🙂
