Everyone knows that I love food, but my favourite meal (by far) is always breakfast. Give me a breakfast buffet, and you’ve won me over. You can have savoury food for breakfast, or sweet stuff (like pancakes!) and often champagne is an acceptable part of the meal (always). What upsets me is that not every restaurant will serve breakfast in the afternoon, so I was thrilled to discover Pablo Eggs-Go-Bar – an all-day breakfast restaurant! Can it get any better? And I also happed to be wearing my new thigh high boots and a pretty dress, so an outfit had to be shot right then and there!

I’ve wanted a pair of thigh high boots for 3 winters now, and I almost came close when I got these boots from Cotton On. However, I wanted the boots to fit perfectly around my thighs, and for that they need to have some sort of a lace-up at the back. When I spotted these babies at ALDO, I had to have them, even though I just bought a similar pair a month ago. These boots weren’t cheap (think they were about R1800), but they were just what I’ve been looking for! Thigh high boots look great with jeans (I have an outfit with them coming up soon!), dresses, stocking, leggings and pretty much anything, so it’s really worth the investment! Are they comfortable? Well, that’s a discussion for another day 😉

I also really love this cute flower-print winter dress from River Island. It’s a great fit and cut, with the belt really giving the waist a definition. I’ve been wearing it to work over and over this season, because you can easily dress it up or down. I paired the whole outfit with a red lip and this green Dune bag and gold Fossil watch. I think it’s a great outfit for a day out when all you want is all day breakfast! 🙂
