Lookbook- Little Red Dress - I'll Take It All

‘Tis officially the month of love, and whether you like it or not, Valentine’s Day is upon us! I’ve always had very positive feelings towards this day, no matter if I was single or coupled up. I feel like life is sometimes lacking those love days, so why not inject an extra dose of loving into one day? Yes you should show your love and affection to your loved ones every day, but why not take an extra day to make it feel extra special? This year Steve and I are going to take it easy and just go for a nice picnic and a movie at the park, but if you are going out for dinner, or a date, I’ve got the perfect outfit for you!

Inspired by all things love related I picked up this gorgeous red dress from Ted Baker last weekend. I don’t normally wear so much red (although I have started to recently) but this colour is growing on me! This dress has a very tight fit which I think is very nice for a special dinner date. I also really like the light python pattern on it (you can only see it up close) as it adds an extra little something to this little red dress. The neckline of it is also rather gorgeous; why not show your shoulders on a date?

Couple of weeks ago I also spotted these cute-as-a-button shoes at Forever New and I fell in love with them! It also helped that they were on sale, so I didn’t require much justification in my mind to grab them straight away. The heart detail at the back is such a cute touch, and I haven’t come across anything like that yet! They had them in black and in white, and I chose the black pair because then I could also wear them to work, but I think the white pair would be fanatic for your wedding day. Imagine how many beautiful photos you could take with them!

Every date requires a red lipstick, so don’t forget to add some of that before you head out. And of course- you are never fully dressed without a smile!
